ABOUT: DJ JeMaYa was born in Suriname, South America. She is one of 7 children who has "music in her blood". DJ JeMaYa with the help of her father Zichfried vianen also known as "the music man, began to get serious in the DJ business. At this time she bought and received a lot of helpful feedback from some of Suriname's well-known DJs. A year later she began playing at large events and famous venues. Soon after she was able to acquire her own DJ equipments and is now able to play at private parties and events. Her fame has brought her to DJ in countries like Curacao, Guyana, French Guyana, the Netherlands, and Belgium. She homes to someday play in the United States where she believes her talent will be appreciated. DJ JeMaYa is not only versed in DJing, but she also holds a certification in building contracting and is currently studying to be road construction and hydraulics engineer. She hopes to someday obtain a degree in Civil Engineering all while doing what she enjoys the most, DJing.
