Buju Banton

Buju Banton was born in Kingston, Jamaica in a poor neighborhood known as Salt Lane. Buju is a nickname given to him by his mother as a child. Banton is a Jamaican word that refers to someone who is a respected storyteller, and it was adopted by Myrie in tribute to the deejay Burro Banton, whom Buju admired as a child.

OneRepublic’s varied style of music has been described by Ryan Tedder: “We’re no respecter of genre. Frank Sinatra

Sinatra died with his wife at his side at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles on May 14, 1998, aged 82, after a heart attack. Sinatra was in ill health during the last few years of his life and was frequently hospitalized for heart and breathing problems, high blood pressure, pneumonia, and bladder cancer. He was further diagnosed as having dementia.

Daddy Yankee

Ayala has kept most of his personal life private, rarely speaking about it in interviews. He has said that he avoids doing so because such details are the only aspect of his life that are not public and that they are like a “little treasure”. In 2006 he spoke about his relationship with his wife and children in an interview with María Celeste Arrarás in Al Rojo Vivo. He stated that his marriage is strong because he and his wife are “friends above anything”, and that he has tried to ignore other temptations because “weakness is the reason for the downfall of several artists”. He met his wife when they were little and at just 17 years old they decided to get married, as a result of the union their first daughter Yamilette Ayala Gonzáles was born. His first daughter was born when he was seventeen years old, which he described as confusing at first, adding that raising a daughter at that age was a hard experience.

Bon Jovi

Bon Jovi’s musical style has generally been characterized as hard rock, glam metal, arena rock, and pop-rock. The band’s first four albums blended the glam metal and hard rock genres. Their first two albums used a heavier mixture of glam metal and hard rock while their follow-ups, Slippery When Wet and New Jersey, featured a more commercialized mixture of glam metal and hard rock. They shed the glam metal sound by their fifth studio album, Keep the Faith, and their sixth, These Days, utilizing a more mature hard rock sound. Crush was characterized as “far enough into pop/rock to actually stand a chance of getting airplay”, while Bounce was described as “heavy, serious rock.” Have a Nice Day was also characterized as being heavier than Crush.

The Beatles

The Beatles began in 1956 when John Lennon formed a skiffle group with his friends called the Quarrymen. The band underwent many to name and membership changes, culminating in 1962 with the famous line-up of Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr. After the Beatles disbanded in 1970, each of the four members went on to have success, both as solo acts and with their own groups. Although Lennon died in 1980, the remaining Beatles re-united in 1994 to record new songs for the Anthology project. Since Harrison’s death in 2001, the two remaining members have not reunited as the Beatles.
