Christine and the Queens releases the new single ‘True Love’ featuring 070 Shake. “True love”, a hauntingly beautiful plea to the angel of light to “take me higher,” is the second single from ‘PARANOÏA, ANGELS, TRUE LOVE’, the new album out 9 June on Because Music.

The official video for “True love” is also released today. Directed by and starring Christine and the Queens, the visual showcases an emotive performance filmed in Los Angeles.

“True love” follows the album’s debut single “To be honest”, which debuted by Clara Amfo on BBC Radio 1 as her Hottest Record In The World and deemed “electrifying” by Pitchfork and “glowing” by The Guardian.

‘PARANOÏA, ANGELS, TRUE LOVE’ is written, performed, and produced by Christine and the Queens, with co-production by Mike Dean (Lana Del Rey, Beyonce). The album will feature guest appearances from Madonna as well as 070 Shake.

Christine and the Queens will curate the celebrated Meltdown Festival at London’s Southbank Centre between 9-18 June 2023, closing the festival with two sold-out headline performances. He will be performing a number of festivals worldwide, including Glastonbury, Primavera in Barcelona and Madrid and headline slots at Roskilde in Denmark, Wilderness in the UK alongside his official UK tour across September.
