Arina Mai

Arina Mai is set to release her new single, “Lifeline,” on September 8th, 2023. “Lifeline” is a pop/rock track that aims to resonate with listeners facing difficult times and encourages them to seek help when needed. Arina Mai hopes to start a dialogue about the importance of asking for assistance.

Musically, “Lifeline” offers a blend of pop and rock influences, drawing comparisons to artists like Pink and Kelly Clarkson. Arina Mai’s vocals are described as powerful, raw, and well-delivered. She wrote “Lifeline” herself and collaborated with foreign producers Rikki Lee Scicluna and Marc Dold on co-writing and production.

The song’s lyrics explore themes of darkness and inner struggles, with verses touching on feelings of isolation and comparison to others. The chorus conveys a cry for help, while the second verse suggests a solution, emphasizing the importance of personal decisions.

Arina Mai’s career has been on an upward trajectory since the release of her EP in February 2023. She performed as a supporting act for pop artist Micky Skeel and participated in DR’s singing program STARSTRUCK, where she was part of Team Madonna and reached the quarter-finals. Arina Mai’s upcoming plans include several concerts with her band, including a performance at Give Festival and her own concert at Tapperiet on September 9th, 2023. More music is expected in spring 2024.

Arina Mai is an independent Christian artist in the pop/soft rock genre known for her energetic personality and catchy pop music. In 2021, her song “Troubled Mind” gained international recognition with airplay in 50 countries and radio interviews in Denmark, Canada, and New York. Her latest works have been produced in collaboration with Marc Dold, a renowned songwriter and producer known for working with artists like Celine Dion, Enya, and Nelly Furtado.

While Arina Mai openly expresses her Christian beliefs, her music is for everyone, regardless of their religious beliefs. She uses her music to connect with young people who struggle with self-love and acceptance, emphasizing the message that everyone is good enough as they are.
